Tuesday, September 17, 2019So deeply saddened to hear of John's passing. While we hadn't connected in many decades I have very fond memories of spending time with my close friend during our years at St Ann prior to my moving to another parish between 4rth and 5th grades. Even at that early time in our lives he was caring, giving, and funny. Judith mentioned the screened in porch at their home and I can picture it easily. Played many a game on that porch. And your Mom couldn't have been nicer to me. Ditto, you, Betsy, and Bill. Unfortunately, I only recently heard of John's passing or I certainly would have reached out sooner. I'm smiling now and will continue to do so each time I think of our good times together all those many years ago. He and all those who love him are in my thoughts and prayers. Kudos for such a beautiful and informative obit. Really helps me picture the richness, the fullness of his wonderful life.
