Grace was born in Alexandria Virginia on July 16, 1970 to Margot V. Shinn and Charles J. McGrath. She graduated from George C. Marshall High School and went on to receive a degree in marketing from West Virginia University. Grace has worked in the payments industry for the last 15 years and was very proud of her work, especially her ability to solve problems for her coworkers and clients. Grace is survived by her partner of 25 years Chuck Armour, their cat Muggles, her brother Jim and his wife Erika, her sister Terri and her partner Michael Davis, her niece Erin McGrath, and her nephew Kyle McGrath along with his family Katelyn Wilder, Jade, and Ivy. Grace was a quiet person who cared deeply for her family and friends. Chuck, Grace, and Vikki were the three musketeers who lived with each other and shared many experiences together. Grace especially loved going to Charles Town to play slots and local poker nights after work. When she wasn't playing poker she enjoyed painting (especially animals), fishing, trivia games, and crafts. Backgammon on the back porch was a favorite pastime with Chuck this past year. Her sweet, positive, nature endeared her to others and her spirit will be missed.
