Sharon Sue Wilkins, 68, of Winchester, Va., passed away on June 9th in care of Blue Ridge Hospice.\n\nSharon's wishes to be cremated, will be honored and respected. A small private service will be held with family and friends at later date as a Celebration of Life. Direct Cremation Services of Va in Stephens City will be handling the cremation.\n\nSharon was born in Winchester, Va., to Garland and Helen Owens of Berryville, Va on April 12th, 1953. She grew up and went to school in Clarke County. She was a stay at home Mom/Wife and enjoyed her time with her husband, the sun, beach and spending time with her grand children and neighbors.\n\nSharon is survived by her husband, Kevin "Cheez" Wilkins of Winchester, Va. Also survived by her children, Noah Vance, Richard Graves, Miki Graves with Partner Brian "Buff" and Michael "Shane" Graves with partner Jan, as well as 7 Grand children and 4 Great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents Garland and Helen Owens, her Sister and Brother in law Gary and Denise "Cookie" Anders, her nephew Damion Anders and her Niece Morgan Anders.\n\nIn lieu of flowers, Memorial donations may be made to Blue Ridge Hospice at 333 W. The family wishes to extend their gratitude to the staff and support team at Hospice and all the Love, Prayers and Comfort they have received from friends, family and co-workers.\n\nSharon's wishes were to remain private about her illness. She had expected 6-9months upon diagnosis. Sharon and her husband wanted to have some time privately before sharing with friends. Unfortunately, her time was cut to about 3 months and she was not able to share at that time. Please understand and thanks to all who have reached out.
