With profound sadness, I announce the death of my beloved son RAINER MONTERO CASTILLO, 33, who passed away on Monday, November 26, 2018, in Chantilly, VA, where we lived. Being a pedestrian he was struck by a car that caused serious injuries to die. This is an extremely hard and sensitive time for my family. His unexpected lost has left us devastated.\nBorn in Havana city, Cuba, on July 14th, 1985 to Virginia Castillo and Lazaro Montero, he grew up with a loving family and a lot of friends from school.\nRainer was a talented magician since a little boy, an avid reader, a gifted learner with a great sense of humor. Practicing Win Shun, traveling, reading, walking, being with family and his pet Susan were what he loved the most.\nMy dearest Rainer was a devoted son, full of love and dedication to his mother sister and nephews, whom he loved deeply. He was also a finest and brilliant young man, generous, with a lot of plans for the future, and now everything is gone. During his short life, he helped a lot of people and he had a word gift, knowing the precise word to be used in every situation.\nRainer was survived by his afflicted mother Virginia Castillo and sister Danae Montero Castillo, his uncle Roberto Castillo Rodriguez, his grandmother, nephews, and other relatives. His funeral has been held privately.\nMy dearest son Coco is so hard to live without you. You are very loved and precious to us.\n"Know the truth, and the truth shall make you free" St John 8:31-32\n\nA celebration of his life will be held every year on July 14th, to celebrate his birth.
