Paul Maines of Ashburn, VA, passed away peacefully at his home on January 24, 2022 from Parkinson's disease. Born on November 19, 1946 in Washington, DC; the youngest of nine children of the late Glen C. and Maybelle (Maines) Dean.\nPaul attended Yorktown High School followed by studies at Northern Virginia Community College. He was a Veteran of the U.S. Navy, serving during the Vietnam War. Following his military service, he worked as an electrician with M.C. Dean, Inc. retiring in 2009 after more than 30 years with the company.\nPaul is survived by his wife, Donna; his stepson, Jeremy Baden (Allison); five grandchildren whom he adored: Alyssa, Tommy, Brenden, Wyatt, and Savannah; and one great granddaughter, Addilyn. He also leaves behind his brothers Harry, Frank, and Henry Maines and his sister, Dallas Herrington. Paul was predeceased by his brothers Glen "Bud" Maines and Joseph A Maines, and sisters, Carolyn D'Avanzo and Edna Carrington.\nDetails on a Celebration of Life will be shared at a future date.
