Marvin Lee Kennaugh, Jr. Obituary (2021 - 2021)

Marvin Lee Kennaugh, Jr. (Age 71) of Centreville, VA passed away Friday, January 15th, 2021. He was born May 27, 1949 at 10th General Hospital in Manila, Philippines. He was preceded in death by his father, Marvin L. Kennaugh Sr.; mother, Soledad "Choly" Pinano Kennaugh; and brother, Scott L. Kennaugh. He is survived by his wife of 37 years, Shin P. Kennaugh; son, Jonathan M. Kennaugh (Jennifer); daughter, Stephanie M. Huston (Kelly); brother Dennis L. Kennaugh; three grandchildren, Gianna M. Huston, Ava M. Huston, and Lucas J. Kennaugh; four nieces and nephews, Cecilia Hyslop, Taylor Kennaugh, Ryan Kennaugh, and Matthew Kennaugh; and four great nieces and nephews. Marvin was an avid fan of Washington, DC sports. He played Tennis and Baseball growing up and developed a passion for bowling and golf; as well as dancing and traveling with his wife, family, and friends. He loved his family dearly and always enjoyed socializing with friends. He served in the United States Air Force, taught ballroom dancing (where he met Shin) and disco dancing, worked at DLA, and had plans of retiring from the USPS where he has been employed since 1993. A Memorial Service will be held on Monday, January 25th at 10:00 AM EST at St. Timothy Catholic Church (13807 Poplar Tree Rd. Chantilly, VA 20151).
