Mantle Grandstaff Obituary (1962 - 2023)

Mantle Eugene Grandstaff “MICKEY” It is with a saddened heart, that we as a family, had to say goodbye to Mantle “Mickey” Eugene Grandstaff. Mickey passed from this life on January 28, 2023 at Winchester Medical Center. Mickey (age 60), was predeceased by his parents Edgar Grandstaff and Mazie Halterman, and a brother, David Halterman. Mickey is survived by his loving wife of 39 years, Cynthia “Cindy” Grandstaff. He was the joy of her life and had an everlasting love and friendship, through love and even death. He was her true soulmate on this earth. He is also survived by this son Jonathan Toman and fiancé Lisa Spitzer. Mickey is survived by two brothers, Dwayne “Bubba” Halterman, Darrell Halterman (Alana); three sisters, Sharon Steele, Karen Burner, and Donna (Richie) Shaw. Also surviving are Mickey’s sister-in-law, Lorrie Dickinson (Joe) and niece Andrea (Andi) Barton and great-nephew Brentley (Lil Jew) Barton. Surviving nephews are Ethan Halterman, Wyatt Halterman, Branson Halterman, Bradley Halterman, Adam Burner, Anthony Smith, Joe Steele, and Keith Steele. Surviving nieces are Destiny Halterman, Rachel Halterman, Amanda Kerns, and Skylar Shaw along with nine great-nephews and nieces. At Mickey’s request, there will be no services, but there will be a “Celebration of Life” at a later date. (Doo-rags are requested in Mickey’s memory). In lieu of floral arrangements, donations may be made to Andrea (Andi) Barton to help with costs of Mickey and Cindy’s medical bills and the cost of celebration.
