Kay Cooper passed on to be with our Lord and Savior on September 11th, 2020.\nShe was born in Winchester, VA on March 13, 1947 to Marion Cooper, Sr. and Mary (Ridings) Cooper. She was preceded in death by her mother and father. Kay is survived by her brother Charles Cooper, Jr. and wife, Cheryl, of Stephens City; and numerous nieces and nephews.\nKay was a happy and loving lady. She touched the hearts of everyone that knew and met her. She loved her pocketbooks, rings, bracelets, and sunglasses. She loved celebrating Christmas with her family and was a figure every year downtown at the corner of Cameron Street where she enjoyed watchnig the Apple Blossom parade with her parents. Her favorite past time was her car rides every Saturday with her brother Charlie, whom she nicknamed "Butch" and listening to her favorite music, including the Beatles and Elvis' gospel music.\nA Celebration of Life will be held at Direct Cremation Services of Virginia (106 Hyde Court, Stephens City, VA 22655) on Friday, September 25th, 2020 from 2-4 p.m.\nDonations may be made to Blue Ridge Hospice (232 S Main St, Woodstock, VA 22664) or Mount Olive Baptist Church in Middletown, VA (P.O.
