John Wilfred Gordon IV passed away, peacefully, in his home in Centreville, VA, on May 18, 2020 at the age of 41.\nJohnny was a loving son to loving parents, John W. III and Ann, of Springfield, VA; and a remarkable older brother to Bruce (wife - Melissa), Philip & Peter (significant other - Morgan). A proud uncle 'Jah Jah' to: nieces Reagan, Annabelle, and Charlotte and his nephew, Pearce.\nJohn IV was born on October 18, 1978 in Washington, DC and in 1982 the family relocated to Springfield, VA. He attended Lake Braddock Secondary School where he played football and found his love for the game of rugby. He graduated from George Mason University in 2000 with a degree in Business Administration and in 2002, moved to Centreville, VA.\nJohnny's love for children and dogs was unmatched by any. He was extremely social and loved to meet new people. He was always reading. When he couldn't sit down with a book, you could find him listening to podcasts, music or audio books. His family and friends will always remember him as a selfless, "give you his last dollar" kind of person.\nA Celebration of Life will be scheduled for a later date and all are welcome to attend.
