Jeanne Kramer Vasko of White Post, VA, daughter, sister, mother, grandmother and friend passed away on August 23, 2021, at the age of 80 after a long battle with cancer.\n\nJeanne was born in Youngstown, Ohio, on March 22, 1941, to Beatrice T. (Madden) and Glen N. Kramer Sr. She attended Cardinal Mooney High School where she met her husband John R. Vasko, Sr. \n\nJeanne was a talented artist who loved to paint with watercolors and was known for her annual Christmas cards featuring her work. She moved into color pencils where she earned signature status in the International Colored Pencil Society of America having her work appear in 3 International Exhibitions.\nJeanne's greatest joy was spending time with her children and grandchildren.\nShe leaves daughter Chris Vasko and husband Jay; daughter Theresa (with whom she made her home); son John R. Vasko, Jr.; son-in-law Bob Sullivan; grandchildren Charlie Vasko and finance Maddie , Lindsey (Vasko) Pendry and spouse Casey, Alyssa Vasko, Mikey Taylor; Will Taylor; Lauren Sullivan and Ryan Sullivan. She is survived by sisters Christine Kramer and Carolyn (George) Hawk.\n\nJeanne was preceded in death by her parents, brother Glen, her son Michael and daughter Tracey.\n\nA Mass of Christian Burial will be held Saturday September 4th at 10:00 a.m. at St. Charles Borromeo Parish Catholic Church, Youngstown, OH with Reverend Philip Rogers presiding. Friends and family may visit prior to mass from 9-10 am in the back of the church. Graveside ceremony will take place at Calvary Cemetery immediately after mass.\nIn lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Blue Ridge Hospice, 333 W. Cork St., #405, Winchester, VA 22601.
