Janet B. Bruno, 67, of Manassas, VA, passed away Thursday February 3rd, 2022, at Birmingham Green Health Care Center, after a progressive movement disorder due to a stroke several years ago. She is at peace now and in heaven.\nShe was born May 8th, 1954 and was the daughter of the late Anne H. Barrigan and Robert S. Barrigan, Sr. of Fairfax County, VA. She graduated from W. T. Woodson High School in Fairfax, VA. and attended Ferrum Junior College in Southwestern, VA. She worked for many years as a Payroll Specialist for the City of Fairfax, VA., Oklahoma State, and the US Federal government in Washington, D.C.\nJanet was sincere, kind, and generous. She loved all manner of sports, a British and American sports car enthusiast, loved soul, country music, and taking strolls on the boardwalks of Ocean City, and Rehoboth beaches in Delaware.\nShe is survived by her sisters, Julie B. Boyd, Eileen B. Lockhart, and brother, Robert S. Barrigan, Jr.\nJanet will be laid to rest with her mother, Anne, at Enterprise Baptist Church, Littleton, NC. A memorial service has been postponed.
