Gajanan Narayan Bhagwat Obituary (2015 - 2016)

Gajanan Narayan Bhagwat passed away at the age of 84 years in Sterling, Virginia. He was born in Kasheli, India, son of Narayan and Ramabai Bhagwat. He lived most of his life in Mumbai, India, before moving to the US in 2015. He enjoyed spending most of last year with his children and grandchildren. He was preceded in death by 3 brothers (Gopal, Srikrishna, Hari) and 3 sisters (Manorama, Ambika, Susheela). He is survived by his wife of 47 years, Shantagauri Bhagwat; daughters (sons-in-law), Eesha (Supriyo), Rijuta (Balaji), Jui (Steve); grandchildren Sanjana, Saurav, Shivani, Simran, Anjali, Shikha; sisters-in-law Kamal Bhagwat and Manda Bhagwat; and many nieces and nephews. Gajanan is being fondly remembered and missed by family and numerous friends. Visitation and services will be held on April 21, 2016 from 10:30 - 11:30 am at Direct Cremation Services of Virginia.
