Brad Horner, 39 passed from this Earth August 2, 2022 at his home in Centreville, Va.\n\nBrad was born June 16, 1983 in State College, PA. He was the son of Tina Gearhart, Spring Mills, PA and Ricky and Sherry Horner, Centre Hall, PA. He is Survived by a sister, Rebeca Horner (Brett Motz) Woodward, PA, a half-sister, Samantha Leedy, Milesburg, PA, and a step-sister, Brooke Bernas (Brad and daughter Peyton), New Cumberland, PA, and a long time girlfriend Miranda Calhoun and her son John, Centreville,VA. He also leaves behind grandparents Charles and Anna Margaret Gearhart, Centre Hall, several aunts and uncles, cousins and his beloved pit-bull, Aries and his beautiful cat, Emma.\n\nBrad graduated in 2001 from Penns Valley Area High School, Spring Mills, PA and enthusiastically played football all six years he attended. He studied for a semester at Penn State in Engineering and a semester at Northern Virginia in Bioengineering before entering the retail business. Brad worked for Lidl US, helping to open several stores on the East Coast and soon worked his way into Corporate Marketing.\n\nBrad liked the outdoors and had just taken a bucket-list deep sea fishing trip with his father in June to Ocean City Maryland where he caught Yellowfin Tuna. He also enjoyed video games and WWE to where he would debate technique with his girlfriend.\n\nBrad was a son, a brother, a grandson, a nephew, a cousin and a friend and he will be greatly missed.\n\n\nA Celebration of Life will be held at the discretion of his family.\n\n\nIn lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made to your local animal shelter or homeless help center. They also ask you to please check on family members who may be struggling and let them know they are not alone.
