Andrea Emmetteen "Tina" Lowe, 82, of Sterling, VA passed away on August 8, 2019 at the Adler Center for Caring in Aldie, VA after a long medical battle.\nTina was born in Glen Fork, WV to Cecil and Arretta Weaver on June 19, 1937. After attending Mullens High School, she moved to Washington, DC and worked there as part of the Gemini Space program. She later returned to WV and made Kopperston her home. She was an avid painter who enjoyed crafts of all kinds, and giving away her paintings and crafts as gifts. She was proud to become a paramedic later in life. Tina spent most of her retirement years in Myrtle Beach, SC. She was strong in her faith and was known for her sense of humor and love of birds and flowers. She was happiest when surrounded by family and friends.\nTina is survived by her children Brenda Ferguson of Bolt, WV; Sandy Turner of Virginia Beach, VA; Margaret Kincaid of Sterling, VA; and Allison Hill of Manassas, VA; siblings, Regina Weaver, Trudy Snuffer, Cecil "Bucky" Weaver, and Marsha Mills; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great- grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.\nShe is preceded in death by her husband Brooks "Buck" Lowe, her daughter Teresa Stewart, and her sister Doncia Franklin.\nThere will be a private memorial service.
